Orientation & Enrolment

At GKEL we are strong advocates of the EYLF – Early Years Learning Framework in which we incorporate in our programming, so to develop;

  • A strong sense of identity
  • Connections with their world
  • A strong sense of wellbeing
  • Confidence and involvement in their learning effective communication skills

GKEL’s programming involves play-based learning. Babies and young children use play to explore the world around them and learn to understand it. Through play, they also develop communication, social, emotional and physical skills that are essential to their development. Most families probably already use play-based learning at home. For example, playing with building blocks helps a child to build their spatial awareness, plus develop maths and fine motor skills. It’s an important ingredient of inspiring a love of learning in young children.

We believe that children should be free to choose, learn and play!
